Odisha ITI Admission 2020-2021: Directorate of Training will release the notification for the Odisha ITI Admission 2020. All the Applicants who want to get admission into any of the Govt/ Private ITIs can apply for the same on the official website dheodisha.gov.in. Applicants have to fill the Common Application Form (CAF) in online mode only. Applicants can fill multiple programs according to their choice in the single admission form. The admission process will be administered via SMS process i.e Student Academic Management System. In this system students can take admission online into +2 (junior) and +3(Degree) classes of Arts, Science, Sanskrit, Commerce, and vocational trades along with industrial training colleges and this process of e-admission. Odisha ITI Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Limit: Candidate must have the age of 14 years as specified in the official notification.
  • Education Qualification
    • Candidates must have qualified Class 8th of High School exam or Annual High School exam of Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha or equivalent class.
    • Candidate’s marks obtained at the 10th Board exam out of the total marks, weightage and reservation (if applicable) will be considered in producing the merit list.

Odisha ITI Admission – How to Apply?

Applicants who wish to fill the application form have to follow the steps given below to fill the form easily.

  2. Upload Images: Applicants need to upload a scanned copy of a photograph of the Aspirant while filling the application form.
  3. Choice Locking: Applicants have to give a minimum of five choices. To add more options in the form they need to click on the Add more button, then select program and institution from the drop-down menu.
  4. Fee Payment: Candidates will find online payment options of ATM-cum-Debit Card / Credit Card/ Net Banking of the different banks available in the portal. Once the payment is done, all steps needed for submission of the application are done. The Aspirant can take a print out of the Application form.
  5. Printing of CAF: Click on the “Print CAF” to print the CAF. Then click to get the “Aspirant Copy”.

Intimation for e-Admission in Odisha ITI

Intimation for e-Admission will be done through the following five modes:

  • SMS (if the mobile number is given in the CAF)
  • Email (if an e-mail address is given in the CAF)
  • An Aspirant can find the information by calling Sanjog Helpline Toll-Free (155335 OR 1800-345-6770) Number and providing their Money Receipt-Cum-Index Number on all Government working days.

Odisha ITI 2020 Result

The result for Odisha ITI 2020 Admission will be announced by the Directorate of Technical Education. The result will be provided in the form of a merit list on the official portal. Applicants who have submitted the application form can verify their names on the merit list. Merit list will be generated based on the score of the qualifying exam for class 10th. All the Applicants whose name will be in the merit list will be likely to participate in further process.

Odisha ITI 2020 Selection Process

After submitting the common application form, a merit list will be generated based on the score of the 10th class exam of the Applicants who have applied for the admission. Applicants will be allocated with the seats as per their score and the choices they have given in the application form. Reservation for various categories will also be referred to as a part of the selection procedure. If there are no Applicants belonging to the reserved class in any stream then reserved seats will be allocated to Applicants belonging to unreserved categories.

Odisha ITI Fee Structure

Below are the details about the fee structure for the Odisha ITI programs.

  1. The selected Applicants have to deposit the fee amount as applicable to the Principal of the referred ITI at the time of admission.
  2. Women & PwD Category Applicants should pay all other fees/charges except ‘Tuition Fee’ at Sl.No.1 of the fees table.
  3. ST and SC category Applicants whose parents’ annual income is not more than Rs.2.5 Lakhs shall be free for payment of admission fee but the caution money.
  4. Admission against four seats of the Trades per Unit provided under the GOI (Govt. of India) scheme ‘Upgradation of 1396 Government ITIs through PPP’ in the following ITIs will be regulated by the concerned IMC Society on merit basis with additionally ‘Development Fee’ an at Rs. 5,000/- per student per annum.

Important Instructions Regarding Odisha ITI Admission

  • Aspirant’s desirous of admission into Government / Private ITIs during the Academic Year 2019-20 has to apply through ONLINE mode ONLY. There will be no OFFLINE mode for the submission of CAF.
  • Admissions to 1st-year ITI programs shall be made according to the merit rank drawn on the basis of the marks obtained by an Applicant in the qualifying exam and choices (ITI + Trade) opted.
  • For admission to ITI programs for the Academic year 2019-20, the Aspirant has to pay the application fee (Non-Refundable) after the final submission of CAF through online mode only i.e. ATM-cum-Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking.
  • If an Aspirant passed from BSE, Odisha between 2013 and 2019 needs not require entering the exam mark details. Their information will automatically populate in the CAF, once they enter ‘exam Name’, ‘Year of Passing’, ‘Exam Type’ & ‘Roll Number’.
  • If an Aspirant agrees with the marks shown in the screen and validates the reservation details online i.e. the Income & Caste (Issued through e-District Odisha Portal) and other details without modifying, then such applications will be treated as auto-validated applications. Except for such Aspirants, all are required to visit the nearest Nodal Center of ITI for validation of the online applied applications with all original certificates.
  • The Applicant or his/her representative needs to submit the original certificates, mark sheets, other necessary documents at the time of document verification at Nodal ITI Centre.
  • The admission will be disqualified at any time if any documents are found to be manipulated.
  • An Applicant will not be considered for admission, if he/she fails to substantiate his/her claim with respect to the Reservation, Category, Residence, Date of Birth, Qualification, etc. with original certificates at the time of verification and counseling.
  • Submission of the application form does not confirm the right of admission, automatically,  into Government / Private ITIs.
  • The information on the re-admission schedule will be available on the official website (http://dtetodisha.gov.in or http://samsodisha.gov.in).
  • The Aspirant needs to be registered himself/herself in the website http://dtetodisha.gov.in or http://samsodisha.gov.in by providing the name, mobile no and email ID to get the online ‘Common Application Form (CAF)’. It can be accessed at any place where an Internet facility is available.
  • The Applicants are advised to remember the Barcode Number, User ID and Password for future correspondence. The Aspirant can apply multiple choices (Institute+ Trade) in one application during ‘Choice Filling’.
  • The Aspirant should fill up options i.e. Institute and Trade as per the preference very carefully. If an Aspirant gets selected for the seat of his/her choice of preference as per the ‘Choice Filling’, then the lower options will automatically be cancelled and only higher options will be accounted for next selections by auto sliding if chosen for.
  • If the selected Aspirant does not take admission, her/ his name shall be removed from the system for future admission during this Session. Therefore, it is mandatory for the selected Aspirants to take admission in order to remain in the system.
  • Only the computer system generated application form having Barcode will be accepted. In any case, a DTP or Typed CAF will not be accepted.
  • Intimation letter to the selected Aspirants will be transmitted through five modes (i) SMS (ii) Email (if e-mail ID is provided) (iii) Website (http://dtetodisha.gov.in or http://samsodisha.gov.in ) (iv) Institute Notice Board (Issuance of provisional merit list rank in the Nodal Center of ITI and official Website and chosen applicant list at selected Institute Notice Board) (v) Toll-Free Number (155335 OR 1800-345-6770).
