ITI Counseling – Overview, Eligibility Criteria, Process

ITI Counseling 2019-20: ITI counselling is essentially a set of processes aimed at procuring seats in various Industrial Training Institutes. ITI are courses that provide candidates with education and expertise in either technical or non-technical fields. Generally, most ITI courses can be pursued as soon as the candidate completes their class 10 or class 12. Some ITI courses can be even pursued after class 8.

ITI counselling is usually conducted after a written exam or any other relevant exam. ITI courses are trade-specific courses, which means the selected course provides detailed insights and practices into a particular trade. Moreover, ITI courses are meant to be pursued soon after completing class 10 or 12. This provides students with early employment opportunities and making them industry-ready.

ITI Counselling Process

ITI counselling processes across most states are conducted online. The candidate has to register with their respective state’s official ITI website. Candidates may also have to pay a form of processing fee for the process. Moreover, candidates are required to furnish the prescribed details in order to complete their application process. The next step in most ITI counselling processes is choice submission. Here, candidates are instructed to select and submit their courses and branch. ITI Result 2019 has been released.

Candidates who are successfully allotted seats may have to pay the institutional fee, usually in part before the last date. Else, their allotted seat will be forfeited. The next step is the verification of the candidate’s documents. Post this step, the candidates may be required to pay the balance institutional fees before the given date, thereby completing the counselling process.
