Gurukul Kurukshetra Admission: Gurukul Kurukshetra was founded in the year 1912 by Swami Shardhanand Ji. The school follows the Gurukul system of education and affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, one of India’s premier education boards. It is a residential school for boys only, with classes from nursery to senior secondary. The school has a comprehensive education plan, with coaching available for various competitive exams held across India as well. The top schools in the country start their School admission process.

Located in Haryana, this public school has a 40-acre extensive campus is equipped with labs for sciences and language, hostel facilities, and a library.   • The age limit for Nursery students is two years and six months as of 31st May
  • The age limit for class I is five years and six months as of 31st May.

Reservation

80% of the seats are reserved for those possessing domicile certificates from Haryana.

20 % of the seats are reserved for those possessing domicile certificates outside Haryana.

Gurukul Kurukshetra Admission Procedure

The school releases its prospectus in January. The application form is available on the school website as well as in the admissions office (through scheduled appointments). The following documents are mandatory:

  1. A completed application form
  2. Birth Certificate
  3. Transfer Certificate
  4. Mark sheet of the last exam taken by the applicant
  5. Medical Fitness Certificate
  6. Passport size photograph

Students wishing to enroll for classes V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, and XI must take the Gurukul Kurukshetra Entrance Exam.

Gurukul Kurukshetra Admission Essential Details

  • The application form can be submitted online on the school’s website. The application must be submitted mid-March with no late fee.
  • Application form submission through visitation is from mid to end of March. The late fee is Rs. 500.
  • Please note, the submission of the application and entrance exam for class XI will be in January.
  • Entrance exams for class V to IX are conducted in the last two weeks of March
  • The entrance exam will be in the morning.
  • The Counselling session will be held the day after the entrance exam from morning till afternoon for those selected.
  • There are no admissions for students who want to join in Class X and XII.

Exam Pattern of the Gurukul Kurukshetra Admission Entrance Exam

  • The exam for all classes will be out of 100.
  • Exam for classes V, VI, VIII, and IX will have objective – type questions.
  • Exam for class XI will have objective and subjective type questions. Science, Mathematics, and Math reasoning questions will be objective type. The remaining subjects have subjective type questions.

Gurukul Kurukshetra Admission Selection Process

  1. The student is notified of the exam date and time on the school’s website.
  2. Once the exam is given, every student will undergo a personal interview.
  3. After this round, a final result will be declared. Those who perform well in the exam and meet the committee’s requirements are granted admission.
  4. If any student has a health problem after admission is granted, the admission will be revoked.

Gurukul Kurukshetra Admission Result

The result for the entrance exam will be sent one SMS and announced on the school website. The result for the test will be in the form of a merit list. Based on the merit list, the counseling will take place. Once counseling is completed, the final result will be available on the school website.
