Bharathiar University School Of Distance Education at present has about 308 Spot Admission cum Learning / Information Centers, that are spreading all-over India and the number is steadily increasing as more and more evince interest in starting Spot Admission cum Learning / Information Centers.
The School directly admits candidates and conducts the Personal Contact Programs at some of their specified centers in Coimbatore. Spot Admission cum Learning / Information Centers enroll candidates and conduct the Personal Contact Programs in their centers or at specified Regional Centers. The study materials are prepared in the prescribed format of the Distance Education Council which.; SIM format are provided to the students supplemented with compact discs for hassle-free use anywhere of the study materials.

Bharathiar University Distance Education Admission Process
Interested students can register themselves online through the official website of the university and submit the required fee through available payment modes. Students can also apply through offline mode by obtaining the application form and submitting it upon completion along with the processing fee for Rs. 300/- as Registration fee (Rs.150 /- for SC / ST candidates) through Demand Draft and necessary enclosures. Bharathiar University Distance Education Online Admission Process
Candidates who are going to apply online for admission to the Bharathiar University Distance Education Courses through the official university website. Candidates should have the following pre-requisites while registering online
- A valid E-mail ID.
- Soft copy of Passport Size Photograph
- Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- as application fee for the OC / BC / MBC / DNT candidates.
- Demand Draft of INR 150/- as application fee for SC / ST candidates, on the production of the attested photocopy of community certificate.
Note: Candidate must enter the exact Number of the Demand Draft, Bank, and Date during Online Registration.
After applying online, the candidate should download the system generated printout of the application form and send it along with the demand draft drawn in favor of The Registrar, Bharathiar University, payable at Coimbatore. The Student should also attach self-attested copies of the Certificates of age, educational qualifications, and Community certificates.
The print out of completed applications along with the self-attested documents mentioned above should be sent via post in a closed envelope super scribed as “Application for admission to Courses ” to the following address:

Bharathiar University Distance Education Offline Admission Process
Candidates can obtain the prescribed application form in person from the university office at a cost of Rs.300/-. The application fees to be remitted by a Bank of India Challan (into the General Fund Account of Bharathiar University) or through a demand draft of any Nationalized Bank.
In the case of SC/ST candidates, the application fee is Rs. 150/- provided they produce an attested Photocopy of his/her community certificate along with the request for application.
The candidate shall also send a self-addressed envelope of size: 28 x 13 cm affixing Rs. 60/- stamp along with the application form and send it to the following address:

Bharathiar University Examination Marks
At the end of each semester, the University conducts regular examinations for the students of U.G., P.G., and M.Phil. programs. To qualify the semester exam, a student should secure a minimum of 50% marks in semester examination, in the case of P.G. and M.Phil.
