Periyar University Distance Education: Periyar University was established in the year 1997. The Periyar University is named after a renowned social reformer popularly called “Thanthai Periyar”. Periyar University Distance Education is accredited by the University Grants Commission with 2f, 12 (B), and re-accredited with NAAC ‘A’ in the year of 2015. The Periyar University is located on the National Highway (NH7) towards Bangalore at about 8 Kms from the Salem city. How to Apply for Periyar University Distance Education

You can apply for Periyar University Distance Education by both Online and Offline.
The cost of the application form is Rs. 300/- (In case of purchase or download) and Rs. 500/- (if you send this by post). For MCA and MBA courses, the fee is Rs. 500/- and Rs. 750/- respectively. For all other PG programs, the application fee is Rs. 300/-. For Certificate and Diploma courses, the fee is Rs. 100/-.

Online Mode: To apply online you have to visit the official website of Periyar University Distance Education and download the application form. Then you have to fill it manually and have to send it to Register, Periyar University, Salem 636 011. With Demand Draft/ Bank Challan and Self Attested necessary documents.

Offline Mode: To apply offline you have to visit the university study center and fill the form manually. And have to submit the form with Demand Draft/ Bank Challan and Self Attested necessary documents.
