Predecessor numbers :

(ii) How many whole numbers are there between 99 and 300?

Solution:

(i) The whole numbers between 38 and 68 are : 39, 40, 41, ………., 67

= 67 – 38 = 29

(ii) The whole numbers between 99 and 300 are: 100, 101, 102, …….., 299

= 299 – 99 = 200
