Eligibility Criteria for the AP EdCET

There are a few criteria that you must fulfill to be eligible for the Common Examination Test. When you are filling the application form online, you will come across the criteria that you must fulfill. If you don’t fulfill the criteria, you would be eligible for the examination.   • The candidate must be of 19 years of age. There’s no age limit to appear for the examination.
  • Candidates have passed or are appearing for a B.A, B.Com, B.Sc for BCA. The candidates who have a degree must attach a copy of it.
  • Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backward Classes such as OBC-A, OBC-B, OBC-C, OBC-D, and OBC-E have a reservation available for them.
  • The physically-handicapped candidates and candidates who have a reservation must have a minimum of 40% in the last examination.

Syllabus and Exam Pattern for AP EdCET

The AP EdCET is an easy examination. The test consists of questions for a total of 150 marks, comprising three sections- Part A, Part B, and Part C. the candidates must attempt the first two sections of the paper. You will get a total of 2 hours to complete the question paper. There is no negative marking for the questions that you attempt. Each question is of 1 mark, so for every right question, you will be awarded one mark.

What you should know about the AP DEECET

You must pass this Common Entrance Test to sign up for earning a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.). Once you pass this test, you can join one of the following two types of institutions in the state of Andhra Pradesh, which will certify you as elementary school teachers.

The AP DEECET will be in mid-May. This is a tentative time frame, as the Higher Education Board of Andhra Pradesh has not yet decided the exact date for the exam. This follows the online application you have to fill and submit the latest by the 3rd week of April. It will be an online exam, for which the admit card will be disbursed to the eligible candidates in the 2nd week of May. The Andhra Govt. will declare the results for the test in June 2020. Course Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility criteria are as follows:

On the Basis of Nationality

  • Applying candidates must and should be a citizen of India particularly.
  • candidates should be an OCI cardholders or PIO
  • Candidates should belong to AP or Telangana state.

On the Basis of Age Limit

  • Particularly there is no upper age limit.

Engineering Courses Eligibility

B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering), (Horticulture), Pharma.D,

  • Candidates who have qualified the final year of the Diploma examination are eligible.
  • Candidates who have qualified or appeared for the Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Candidates who are qualifying in vocational courses that are conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education and Technology in the fields of Engineering and Technology are eligible for the AP EAMCET.
  • The vocational courses need to be conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, AP, and Telangana.
  • Applying candidates need to be qualified in any other examination that is recognized to the diploma examination by the State Board of Technical Education and Training in AP/ Telangana.
  • Candidates must obtain at least 45 % of aggregate marks in the subjects that are mentioned above can be taken together in the examination.
  • Applying candidates who belong to SC and ST must obtain a minimum aggregate of 40 percent in the subjects specified taken together.

For Pharma.D Course

  • Applying candidates should qualify in the Intermediate examination with having Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics as optional subjects.

Or

  • Applying candidates need to appear in the final year of Diploma examination in Pharmacy.
  • Applying candidates should obtain at least 45 percent marks in the subjects taken together.

AMU, or Aligarh Muslim University, is one of the pristine government universities in India. The university offers courses in all subject streams and is a premier Central Government university. Located in Aligarh, it was founded in the year 1875 and is very prestigious. People consider studying in AMU to be good. After applying to AMU, you have to write the AMUEEE, that is, the AMU Engineering Entrance Exam if you are applying for either B.Tech, B.Arch or B.E (mechanical/civil/electrical).

What you should know about the AMU Engineering Entrance Exam (AMUEEE)

AMUEEE is a national examination to help you with your entry to Aligarh Muslim University. If you wish to go to AMU to study there, you have to write this exam. Currently, the AMUEEE is scheduled to be conducted on 31st May. This follows the online application for the same. The exam is an offline exam for undergraduate admissions in the city which you select in your online application. The admit card for AMUEEE will be available to eligible candidates in the last week of April. Following the exam, the answer key will be released to the candidates in the first week of June, and you will receive your results for AMUEEE in the last week of June. You will find out towards the end of June if you have been selected to enroll in AMU.

Eligibility Criteria for the AMUEEE

While checking the eligibility criteria for AMUEEE is a requirement for filling up the application form, it does no harm to know it. To partake in the AMUEEE, there are certain requirements that you should have met by the time you fill the form. You must meet all of these requirements; otherwise, you will be ineligible to write the AMUEE and join this university. The following is the eligibility criteria for AMUEEE:

  • Candidates must not be more than 24 years of age as of 1st July 2020
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised educational board, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks
  • Candidate should have studied and written exam for Physics, Chemistry as well as Mathematics in their 10+2 or equivalent
  • Additional eligibility: if you have completed an engineering diploma from AMU with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks, you are also eligible to write the AMUEEE

Preparing for the AMUEEE

When preparing for the AMUEEE, prepare for it as though you’re preparing for any important exam. Go through the syllabus and study the subjects and topics thoroughly. Prepare notes for yourself which will come to good use during last-minute preparations Do study all the topics you find difficult in the beginning, then move on to topics you find relatively easier. This is a good way to study, as it also relieves stress related to the apprehension of needing to study something complicated. Finally, go through AMUEEE old question papers (find these in the next section here) and solve them. Try to solve them as if you’re sitting in the exam hall, with zero disturbances and a timer set to the duration of your respective test.
