What is the Admission Procedure for APRDC 2020?

You can obtain the prospectus from the college.  Once you decide to apply for admission in the first year of a degree programme, you will need to fill in an application form for APRDC CET or Andhra Pradesh Residential Degree Colleges Common Entrance Test.2020.  The application form is available on the official site of the college.  You would need to write correct information about yourself because there is no scope of making any changes later on.  If you furnish incorrect information, your application form is likely to be rejected.

Here is a step by step procedure for filling up the application form.

Step 1: Make the payment.

Step 2: Journal number or Payment Gateway is generated after payment.  Note down your Journal number, date of payment and your date of birth.

Step 3: Open the online application form from the official website.  Fill in the payment details and your date of birth.

Step 4: Fill up your qualification details, such as Inter Board and Inter Hall ticket number.

Step 5: Upload your scanned 50 kb size photograph with signature in jpg format.  You would need to adjust it to dpi resolution for your photograph.  Photo height needs to be 4.5 cm, and signature space should be 1.5 cm.

Step 6:  You would also need to declare that you have read the information bulletin of CET 2020 and user guide.

Step 7: Fill in the verification code as you see in the displayed image.

Step 8: You need to download the acknowledgement page for your reference.

Who is Eligible for Appearing in APRDC CET 2020?

You need to obtain at least 50% marks in your Senior Intermediate Examination 2020 from a recognized board.  Students who belong to SC/ST/BCs category need to get a minimum of 45% marks in their 12th Board Examination.  Students need to qualify for an under graduate degree programme according to the following subjects.

  • Students who apply for B.A. programme should have subjects, such as English, History, Economics and Civics in their 12th Board Examination.
  • Students who apply for B.Com programme should have subjects, such as English, Economics, Elements of Commerce, Book Keeping and Accountancy in their 12th Board Examination.
  • Students who apply for B.Sc. programme should have subjects, such as English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology in their 12th Board Examination.

The Pattern of APRDC CET

  • This is an offline test.
  • APRDC CET will be in English language.
  • You need to write your Hall Ticket Number on the OMR answer sheet in the box provided.
  • You will get an OMR answer sheet along with the test booklet. An OMR sheet is an answer sheet, which is evaluated by a reader software.  It has bubbles of (a), (b), (c) and (d).  You need to mark the answers with a thick black ballpoint pen.
  • You need to shade only one bubble for each answer.  Your answer will not be evaluated if there is more than one mark for each question.
  • You should shade within the boundary of the bubble.
  • The question paper is based on MCQs objective type questions.
  • Every question is compulsory and carries one mark each.
  • There is no deduction for wrong answers.
  • The question paper will consist of 30 marks of English subject and the remaining 120 marks of group subjects.  Each group subject will carry 40 marks.
